Applications have been submitted for a building permit for a four-story residential building at 511 Meek Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The site is located between Russell Street and McGuinness Avenue and is closest to the Nassau Avenue subway station, which is served by the G train. Harold Freund of 511 Holdings LLC is listed as the owner of the application.
The proposed 44-foot-tall development would result in 8,559 square feet of living space. The building will have ten residential units and the most likely rent is based on an average of 855 square feet. The steel structure will also have a basement, a penthouse and a 30-foot backyard.
In April 2022, permission was filed to demolish a two-story building on the site. An expected completion date has not been announced.
