1 .The waterproof materials selected for the roof project shall meet the following requirements, and the drawings shall indicate the type, model and specification of the waterproof materials, and its main physical properties shall meet the requirements of this specification for the quality index of the materials;

2 .When selecting roof waterproof roll, coating and joint sealing material, it shall be selected according to the relevant contents of Chapter 5, Chapter 6 and Chapter 8 of this specification;

3. Considering the conditions of construction environment and the operability of process, the materials used shall be compatible in the following cases: waterproof materials (refer to coiled materials and coatings, the same below) and base treatment agents, waterproof materials and adhesives, waterproof materials and sealing materials, waterproof materials and coating of protective layer, composite use of two waterproof materials, base treatment agents and sealing materials.

4 .According to the nature of the building and the use function of the roof, the waterproof materials shall be selected, which shall meet the following requirements in addition to this specification: for the exposed non accessible roof, the waterproof materials with strong adhesion to the base, UV resistance, heat aging retention rate, acid rain resistance and puncture resistance shall be selected.The waterproof materials with good puncture resistance, mildew resistance and high tensile strength shall be selected for the roof.For water storage roof and planting roof, waterproof materials with good corrosion resistance, mildew resistance and puncture resistance shall be selected.For the roofing of long-span buildings such as thin shell, fabricated structure and steel structure, waterproof materials with light weight, heat resistance and good deformation adaptability shall be selected.For inverted roof, waterproof materials with good adaptability to deformation and high assurance rate of joint sealing shall be selected.For sloping roof, waterproof materials with strong adhesive force and low temperature sensitivity shall be selected.For roof joint sealing and water proofing, sealing materials with strong adhesion to base course, excellent low temperature resistance and certain displacement adaptability shall be selected
