Industry data shows that China’s warehouse storage industry continued to expand last month, but activity slowed slightly.
According to a survey jointly released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing Industry and CMST Development Co., Ltd., the index tracking the development of the industry dropped by 5.4 percentage points last month and reached 51.5% in December last year.
The survey shows that the sub-indices of business volume and business cost are 54.4% and 51.8%, respectively, reflecting the continuous growth of demand for warehouse business.
As the sub-indices of new orders and business activity expectations are still in the expansion range, analysts believe that the development of the warehouse storage industry will maintain a good momentum in the future.
