Measures for steel structure hoisting to prevent falling from high altitude

Measures to prevent falling from height in steel structure hoisting:

1.The operator must use the safety basket correctly when splicing at high altitude, and ensure that the operator can operate in the basket when the safety belt is used.

2. when using crowbar at high altitude, people shall stand stably. If there is scaffold nearby or components have been installed, people shall hold and operate with one hand. The depth of crowbar insertion shall be appropriate. If the crowbar distance is large, it shall be gradually crowed, and it shall not be in a hurry.

3.The ladder used for climbing must be firm.During the action, ropes must be used to bind the fixed components. The angle between the ladder and the ground is generally 65 ° – 70 °.

4. when the operator passes on the scaffold, he should concentrate on his mind to prevent stepping on the pick-up board.

5.Operators shall not wear hard soled leather shoes to work at heights.

Measures to prevent injury caused by falling objects:

1. ground operators must wear safety helmets.

2.The tools, spare parts, etc. used by the operators shall be placed in the tool bag with which they carry them, and shall not be thrown down at will.

3. when cutting with gas cutting or electric welding knife at high altitude, measures shall be taken to prevent sparks falling and hurting people.

4. ground operators shall try to avoid staying or passing under the working at height, and shall not stay or pass under the suspender of crane or the component being hoisted.

5. after the component installation, the connection quality must be checked. Only when the connection is safe and reliable can the temporary fixing tools be removed
