Check groove angle, blunt edge, clearance and dislocation before welding.Rust spots, oil stains and iron oxide scale on both sides of the groove shall be cleaned.preheat.Before welding, gas welding or special baking gun shall be used to evenly heat the bottom metal and both sides of the groove, and surface thermometer shall be used to measure the temperature to prevent the temperature from failing to meet the requirements or surface oxidation and preheating temperature.
Recheck the preheating temperature.If the temperature is not enough, it should be reheated to meet the requirements.The surface cleanliness of pad and run on plate shall be the same as that of groove, pad and base metal shall be closely combined, and run on plate and base metal shall be firmly welded.Welding: the first layer of the weld shall be sealed at the joint of the bottom metal and the lining plate, and then welded layer by layer to fill the groove. After each welding, the welding slag and spatter must be removed, and the welding defects shall be timely worn and repaired.
The interface must be continuously welded.If it is necessary to stop during welding, heat preservation and slow cooling shall be carried out.Before re welding, it shall be reheated as required.The welding shall be stopped in rainy and snowy days, and the parts around and above the weld shall be provided with windshield, canopy, and the welding shall be stopped when the wind speed is greater than 5m / s.When the ambient temperature is lower than zero, preheating and post heating measures shall be taken as required.Carbon structural steel shall be cooled to ambient temperature and low alloy structural steel shall be inspected after 24 hours.Welders and inspectors shall fill in the work sheet carefully.
