The roof of a Delta airplane hangar at Logan International Airport in Boston was partially blown off during a powerful fall nor’easter that rattled the region overnight.

“Delta’s aircraft maintenance hangar sustained wind damage from storms overnight and teams will be inspecting the damage today,” a statement from the airline said.

An official for the Massachusetts Port Authority said the membrane of the hangar, the flexible material that covers the steel structure, blew off during the storm amid 70 mph winds at the airport.

In addition to the damaged hangar, a Southwest aircraft was pushed by the wind while at a gate. No one was in the aircraft at the time, according to MPA.
