As first reported by the Los Angeles Times, Sandra Bullock’s Southern California ranch has just sold. Built in 1990, the sprawling home consists of three adjoining lots with two residences. The land is planted with avocado and citrus trees, and there is also a chicken coop. The actress bought the hilltop property in 2007 for $2.7 million. The 91-acre ranch is up for sale for $6 million.
Mediterranean-style home with four bedrooms and six bathrooms on nearly 6,000 square feet of single-level living space. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The estate is safely tucked away behind a long fenced driveway surrounded by eucalyptus, avocado and rose gardens. The main house has a magnificent living room with a fireplace, wide wooden floors, vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and French doors leading to a beautiful central courtyard. A rustic kitchen, dining room and master bedroom with fireplace and seating area complete this home. For guests there is a separate suite with a kitchen.
Outside, you’ll find a saltwater pool and spa, as well as large lawns for relaxing and entertaining, as well as several walking paths. The second home on the property is a three bedroom, two bathroom home with a gazebo and workshop. According to the list, there is enough room to expand an existing grove by planting a vineyard, adding a greenhouse, or creating an equestrian paradise.
The listing is being done by Alan Long of Avenue 8, Kay O’Hara of HomeSmart Realty West and Melissa Russell of Willis Allen Real Estate.
