  (1) Hot rolled section steel hot rolled section steel includes angle steel, I-beam, channel steel, T-beam, Z-beam, etc.Q235-A (carbon content is 0.14-0.22%) is the main hot-rolled section steel for construction in China. It has moderate strength, good plasticity and weldability, low cost, and is suitable for construction engineering.In the code for design of steel structures, there are mainly two kinds of low-alloy steels: Q345 (16Mn) and Q390 (15MnV), which are used in steel structures with large span and bearing dynamic loads.

  (2) The cold-formed thin-walled steel is usually formed by cold-formed or die-pressed 2-6-mm-thick-walled steel plate, including angle steel, channel steel and hollow thin-walled steel such as square and rectangle.It is mainly used in light steel structure.The marking method is the same as that of hot rolled section steel.

  (3) Steel plate and profiled steel plate are made of flat steel rolled by smooth roller. Those supplied in flat state are called steel plate and those supplied in roll form are called steel strip.According to different rolling temperature, it can be divided into hot rolling and cold rolling; hot rolled steel plate can be divided into thick plate (thickness greater than 4mm) and thin plate (thickness of 0.35-4mm) according to thickness; cold rolled steel plate only has one kind of thin plate (thickness of 0.2-4mm).Steel plate and steel strip for building are mainly carbon steel structure.Some heavy-duty structures, long-span bridges and high-pressure vessels also use low-alloy steel plates.Generally, the thickness can be used for welding structure; the thin plate can be used as the enclosure structure such as roof or wall, or as the raw material of coated steel plate; the steel plate can also be used to bend into section steel.
