Project description: The City of Surprise Public Works Vehicle Maintenance Department is responsible for the purchase, repair, maintenance and disposal of vehicles, equipment and special tools in the city. Project Description: Cives Corporation is one of North America’s largest and most successful manufacturers of structural steel and sheet metal, and recently built a new Steel Fabrication Plant on a former rose garden in El Mirage, Arizona. Project description: Creighton Elementary School was built in 1884 and is rooted in the long history of Phoenix. CHASSE completed the reconstruction of the school and exchanged traditional classrooms for open collaborative learning spaces. This new format will enable students to explore, work together, and better prepare for future development. The new campus has three modern two-story buildings, a new gymnasium, cafeteria, upgraded to a sports field, a community garden area and an amphitheatre. These buildings have learning laboratories instead of traditional classroom spaces, learning stairs for teaching and gatherings, numerous rest spaces and two indoor slides!

Project description: The public safety training facility project currently being established for Gilbert Township, including a new 18-acre country-style tactical training campus for police and firefighting. The facility will provide long-term support for Gilbert’s public safety training needs. The tactical training campus will be equipped with an amphitheater, locker rooms, administrative offices, classrooms, 3 bay simulated fire stations, several burnt-out buildings, and indoor shooting ranges with traditional lanes and custom streetscapes. The adjacent tactical driving training area will include driving courses, evasive maneuvering courses and driving skills in the reserved area.

Project description: The new hotel is located in the Opportunity Zone, which will be connected to the Tucson Convention Center and provide a variety of convenient facilities, including a swimming pool on the second floor, on-site restaurants, coffee bars and 4,000 square feet of meeting space. The design includes 170 rooms, four suites and a presidential suite. The new building will provide seamless connections for hundreds of thousands of people who visit the convention center every year and will complement the Barrio Viejo neighborhood-further distinguishing downtown Tucson. The hotel is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2020, and the Tucson Convention Center will still be fully operational during the entire construction process.

Project description: The four-story student success building will be a centralized building for student services, guidance, counseling and career counseling. This is the only new building on the project, and the rest includes the renovation of the main library, Albert B. Weaver Science and Engineering Library and Bear Down Gym. The new district encourages students to seamlessly switch between spaces that provide full-service and professional knowledge to achieve their academic and professional goals. The project was designed and built by Sundt’s Miller Hull and Poster Mirto McDonald’s design partners. It is expected that the multifunctional project will be fully completed and open to students before 2022.
Project description: Walter Douglas Primary School is undergoing major renovations. The flying-themed campus adds 40,000 square feet of two-story building, providing 24 new classrooms, maker spaces, media centers and computer laboratories! The new architectural element will adopt a metallic appearance, reminiscent of the structure of an airplane. The original architectural structure was designed by John A. Shaver, who used a thin-shell concrete roof in the circular classroom pod, giving the building a clamshell-like effect. The Flows Wells Unified School District is committed to maintaining this long history and merged two roofs in the campus redesign.
Project description: The project includes a new building of a technological core/shell building in the center of Phoenix City. The building includes floors above the seventh grade and floors below the first grade. It includes a lobby space on both sides, accessible through Garfield and the courtyard adjacent to Fourth and Fifth Avenues. The main surfaces of the building are metal panels, glass and vertical metal shutters to provide shadows. The project is designed and designed for potential laboratory tenants throughout the building. Arizona State University will provide tenants with half of the available square footage.
