1、 Before the fabrication of steel members, the factory shall carry out welding procedure qualification test according to the requirements of construction drawings.During the production process, it should be carried out in strict accordance with the relevant parameters and requirements of process evaluation. If quality problems are found, the test should be conducted again to achieve quality stability.

 2、 According to the relevant requirements of steel structure construction and fabrication scheme, steel structure technical specifications and construction drawings, various construction technologies and relevant technical documents shall be prepared, and the factory shall organize relevant department personnel to review the steel structure processing technology. 

3、 Before the construction of steel structure engineering, the welding technology responsible personnel shall prepare the welding procedure documents according to the welding procedure evaluation results, and make technical disclosure to the relevant operators, and strictly abide by the provisions of the process documents during the construction.

 4、 Steel structure welding process documents include the following contents: welding method or combination of welding methods, grade, thickness and other relevant dimensions of base metal, model and specification of welding material, welding joint form, groove shape and allowable deviation of dimension, fixture, positioning welding, backing plate and process requirements, welding current, welding speed, welding level, back gouging requirements and welding sequenceArc strike plate and run-off arc plate, welding process parameters, preheating temperature and interlayer temperature range, post heating and post welding stress relief treatment process and inspection method, etc. 

5、 The selection of steel and welding filler materials for building steel structure shall be in accordance with the requirements of design drawings, and shall be provided with quality certificate report and inspection report issued by steel plant and welding material factory.The chemical composition, mechanical properties and other quality requirements of materials must comply with the current national standards. When using other steel and welding materials to replace the design materials, it must be approved by the original design unit. 

6、 The new materials selected in steel structure engineering must be identified by new products, and the steel products shall be provided with welding data, guiding welding process, heat processing and heat treatment process parameters, corresponding steel welding joint performance data, etc.Welding materials shall be provided by the manufacturer for storage and welding baking parameters, composition of deposited metal, performance appraisal materials and guiding welding parameters, which can be used in the project only after being proved and qualified by experts and welding procedure assessment.
