21In the first 30 years of the century, China will maintain a certain scale of new residential buildings every year.At present, the quantity, variety and quality of construction steel in China can basically meet the needs of residential buildings with grid steel structure.In recent years, the state has strengthened the policy guidance and support for steel structure residence, and the technology of steel structure residence with grid structure is developing day by day.In China, it has the conditions for the development of grid steel structure residence.  　　

 Although energy-saving, environmental protection and land-saving space truss steel structure residence has been paid more and more attention in China, there is still a big gap between the promotion degree and the developed countries in the world.The proportion of steel structure residential buildings in China is less than 5%, while that in developed countries is more than 40%, according to the head of relevant industry associations on the 10th.
